Today, most perfumers seem to come from the region of Grasse, the world capital of perfumery since the 16th century. The nose job is most often passed down from generation to generation and being born in the middle of fields of flowers thus particularly encourages the desire to join this path. However, this was not the case with Bruno Jovanovic, a Parisian now famous for his high-end and daring creations.Bruno Jovanovic’s headerBruno Jovanovic was born in 1975, in Paris. Thus, it is not frankly the smells of his childhood and which led him in this way. Bruno Jovanovic describes his choice to become a perfumer rather as a whim.

In fact, he had this desire after wandering the aisles of a high-end Parisian department store. He discovered multiple luxurious scents there and was literally fascinated by them. Eager to realize his dream, he made sure to integrate one of the most prestigious perfume schools in the world: the ISIPCA of Versailles. Not content with having selected for this program among the considerable number of applications received each year by the establishment, he demonstrated during his studies a real hard work. Thus, he graduated from this school, 2nd best student out of 900! This of course helped bring a real boost to his early career.

Bruno Jovanovic’s remarkable career

Once out of school, Bruno Jovanovic joined the IFF group, a true leader in the perfume sector. He brought to this brand a sensitivity that was both modern and sophisticated, which allowed him to work for very diverse perfumers. Indeed, Bruno Jovanovic always responds wonderfully to his customers, whether they are major brands subscribing to the latest marketing trends, as well as niche brands more often reserved for initiated consumers. Bruno Jovanovic has extraordinary talent combined with tireless energy. He has notably collaborated with Karl Lagarfeld, Calvin Klein, Paco Rabanne, Ralf Lauren, Lamborghini or Abercrombie & Fitch.

Today, Bruno Jovanovic is still a perfumer at IFF in New York, in the Fine Perfumery section of the company. A pure product of this brand, he seems to particularly appreciate his collaboration with it and benefits from their notoriety to carry out ever more ambitious projects in the company of the biggest leaders in luxury.
